This is a set of tools that provide network management tools.
Axence NetTools is a set of network scanning, monitoring and administration tools. This free to use software offers 10 different tools that include network scanner, list of inbound and outbound connections for the machine, port scanner, etc. Computer networks are complex collection of a variety of software and hardware resources and interconnections. To make it all work together, you will need to monitor many issues and will need tools that do not force you to go out physically where the problem is physically. This collection has tools that can test various aspects of the network behavior for optimum performance as well as for fault-finding should some problem happen. The Netwatch tool included in the package lets you find multiple host availability and monitor response times. Reports can be exported in XML, HTML or TXT formats. You are able to get notifications (via e-mail, message, sound) on host availability issues.
Response time records are made available including current and historical charts for response times and percentage of lost packets. Monitoring of TCP/IP services and TCP ports are also possible. Network, port and service scanner helps in discovering the hosts in the network, identification of services on them, operating verification of operating verification of HTTP, POP3, MS SQL, Oracle and 50 other services and detecting open ports at the addresses found. Win tool lets you view processes and services, remote register editor and event logs, connected devices details, etc. Rest of the tools namely TCP/IP Workshop and SNMP browser, Traceroute, and miscellaneous tools that include Netstat, local info, lookup, bandwidth, and Netcheck help administrator discover other areas of the network functions. This is a very good product. If you are looking for a similar solution, you should try it in your exact workflow.
